At Schools4Africa, we are on a mission to educate children in Sierra Leone where only 48.64% of those age 15 and older can read and write with some understanding. We believe that by working together, we can move mountains—or rather, pick up the biggest rocks—to empower these children’s education.

While often categorized as miscellaneous, gifts of gently used clothing, shoes, and school supplies are deeply meaningful and impactful. They remove significant barriers for families struggling with poverty, ensuring children have appropriate attire and the necessary materials to attend school with dignity and focus on their learning. We would appreciate adult clothing and shoes for parents and teachers as well. What we need:

• Gently used children’s clothing (all sizes, especially school uniforms, or cotton fabrics of all colors to sew as uniforms).
• Durable shoes for children and adult; dress and casual shoes (all sizes).
• New or gently used school supplies (notebooks, pens, pencils, backpacks, textbooks).
• Teaching aid supplies for teachers.
